Leeds-based indie-rock quartet English Teacher are bringing their Mercury Prize‑winning album This Could Be Texas to London’s Roundhouse this November. After selling out the initial date on 26 November 2025, the band added a second headline show for 25 November due to overwhelming demand.

Formed in 2020 at Leeds Conservatoire, the group - including vocalist Lily Fontaine, guitarist Lewis Whiting, drummer Douglas Frost, and bassist Nicholas Eden - catapulted to prominence with their experimental, socially sharp debut that critics hailed as “original” and a fresh take on guitar-based music.
