LIVE REVIEW: ROSALÍA AT THE O2 ARENA, LONDON 05/05/26

Rosalía returned to London for two sold-out dates at The O2 Arena on the 5th and 6th of May for her LUX Tour, marking her first performance in the capital since the MOTOMAMI World Tour over two years ago. While she made a massive impression back then by redefining the "visual language" of arena concerts, these two tours represent two distinct eras for the 33-year-old Spanish singer-songwriter, shifting from industrial reggaeton to a full symphonic orchestra. If the gap between these two worlds seems drastic, it certainly did not disappoint the fans; Rosalía has returned stronger, with a vision bigger than life itself.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: RICK ASTLEY AT THE O2 ARENA, LONDON 25/04/26

‘‘Nice to hear some cheers…means I’ve still got it“ Astley shouted three songs into the final night of his 12-date UK and Ireland Reflection Tour. The show at The O2 on April 25th concluded the run with a triumphant finale. British singer-songwriter Rick Astley, who reached number one in 25 countries with his 1987 smash hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up‘ and celebrated his musical comeback in the early 2000s, shows no signs of slowing down again anytime soon. The crowd was on its feet all night, cheering and dancing to classic 80s hits as well as newer material.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: VINCENT LIMA AT THE GARAGE, LONDON 26/04/26

On the 26th of April, Vincent Lima brought his haunting indie-folk melodies to The Garage in London. From the moment I arrived, there was a strong sense of excitement in the air. LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: BIG THIEF AT THE O2 ACADEMY BRIXTON, LONDON 24/04/26

Big Thief have returned to London with their new headlining run, the Somersault Slide 360 Tour, marking their first headlining tour in the UK in three years. Tonight was the second of a four-night mini residency at O2 Academy Brixton, and the atmosphere reflected a rare kind of shared admiration. The audience spanned all ages, and by the end of the night, every person in the room seemed completely absorbed in the band’s rich tonal shifts and lengthy solos. Despite selling out all four shows, Big Thief kept the staging simple, leaning into a minimalist setup while introducing six unreleased tracks within a 16-song set.

LIVE REVIEW: PRESIDENT AT THE O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN, LONDON 21/04/26

Eight songs, just eight songs. Industry acclaim, a sold out EU/UK tour and a packed out debut at Download Festival with just eight songs- even more impressive when you remember the latter took place with only two tracks out in the world. President are a bona fide sensation in the modern metalcore scene, harnessing the power of unanswered mysteries, finely tuned theatrics and a raw, honest sound.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: MAGGIE LINDEMANN AT THE O2 SHEPHERDS BUSH EMPIRE, LONDON 20/04/26

Straddling the line between pop and rock is a tricky place to be. Will the girlies fuck with heavier vibes? Will the rockers take a lighter brand of music seriously? Walking that tightrope is Maggie Lindemann, moving from the bubblegum vibes of ‘Pretty Girl' back in 2016 to the moody emo coded ‘self sabotage’ in 2022 and dark electronic ‘fang’ in 2025.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: TAKEDOWN FESTIVAL 2026

On a chaotic Easter bank holiday weekend as Storm Dave bears down on the UK it would be a fair cop to say that 2026 festival season hasn't quite started yet. Although we may be a little while away from fields and camping (and mud) the start of April is the perfect time for the Guildhall in Portsmouth to get everyone warmed up for a summer of debauchery and play host to a few dozen raucous bands across two days and three stages.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: FIT FOR A KING AT THE ELECTRIC BALLROOM, LONDON 24/03/26

There are two ways to look at the current state of the UK music scene. The cynics amongst us might lament about declining ticket sales and occasional venue downgrades, but something key is changing in booking trends, and for fans looking for value for money from their ticket price and precious week-night evenings, it's nothing but good news. Fit For a King brought the value for money with a trio of heavy hitters for the Lonely God tour. On the final night of the UK leg, the Electric Ballroom in Camden was packed to the rafters right from the relatively early doors.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: WATERPARKS AT THE O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN, LONDON 26/03/26 (+ GREYWIND)

After only few months after their last, albeit intimate show in London, Houston’s trio Waterparks returned in the heart of Camden for their last show of their PROWLER tour, which brought them across the pond for a series of shows, concluding with a memorable night at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. With a curated and fan-focused setlist and striking visuals combined with their genre-bending allure, The Waterparks Show, as it was affectionately dubbed, was undoubtedly an experience that would be hard to forget for those in attendance.
