Camden is the place to take in some of the best that the music scene has to offer, with everyone who's ever been anyone walking out on its many stages. This time it was the turn of Kate Nash who had a hungry audience of fans awaiting to consume her brilliance at The Roundhouse. The show itself was full of twists and turns, some expected, others not so much.

Depending on which album you know Thrice from, you may have a totally different view of the band from the guy standing next to you in the crowd at Kentish Town Forum. From 2001's 'Identity Crisis' to the barely six month old 'Horizons/West', the sheer number of genres the California quartet have ventured into over their twelve albums is dizzying.

On March 15th, Asha Banks transformed North London’s Roundhouse into an intimate showcase of her rising star power. The English actress and singer began her career as a child performer in the West End and has recently gained wider recognition for her leading role in the 2025 British romantic drama film ‘My Fault: London‘, directed by Dani Girdwood. Her latest EP, ‘How Real Was It?‘, was also released in 2025, with the Roundhouse show marking the accompanying tour’s final stop.

‘‘Sometimes it’s just good to leave the phone in the pocket and just go fucking nuts“ Franz Ferdinand’s lead singer Alex Kapranos said before the band launched into their 2004 hit ‘Take Me Out‘. Franz Ferdinand are a staple of the indie music scene. The Scottish indie rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002, originally consisting of Alex Kapranos (vocals/guitar), Bob Hardy (bass), Nick McCarthy (guitar/keyboards) and Paul Thomson (drums). Kapranos and Hardy remain in the band today, joined by Julian Corrie (keyboards/guitar), Dino Bardot (guitar) and Audrey Tait (drums), who came on board in 2021. The band is currently touring Europe and America on their ‘‘Greater Glasgow North American Cultural Exchange“ tour.

Icelandic-Chinese composer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Laufey has been taking the music industry by storm in recent years. Her unique style, a product of her classic training mixed with her love of contemporary pop music, often described as a blend of jazz, pop, and bossanova, has not only allowed her to conquer audiences from widely different generations and musical taste, but also won her the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her sophomore record BEWITCHED in 2024.

Kicking off a short run of six special anniversary shows, this night at The Garage felt less like a routine tour stop and more like a reunion. Anyone who has experienced an Against The Current gig already knows the alchemy that happens when the trio take the stage: part pop spectacle, part cathartic group therapy session. Yet tonight, squeezed into a 600-capacity room in North London, that magic felt more concentrated than ever.

Rising alternative rock band Keo kicked off their Spring 2026 UK & Europe tour in Birmingham on March 5th. The band, formed by brothers Finn (vocals/guitar) and Conor Keogh (bass), along with Oli Spackman (drums) and Jimmy Lanwern (guitar), gained wider attention with the release of their five-song EP ‘Siren‘ in 2025. Although the band has not yet released many songs on Spotify, they have built a strong fan base over the past few years, solidifying their reputation as a powerful live act.

On February 19, 2026, the O2 Academy Brixton didn't just host a show; it became a yonic portal into the "human realm" of Ashnikko. This was a 30th birthday celebration transformed into a mass-scale ritual - a high-concept "exorcism" of the sanitised, palatable world outside.

On February 20th 2026, London’s KOKO was packed as Irish indie-rock band The Academic delivered a high-energy set. The group formed in Ireland in 2013, when school friends Craig Fitzgerald (vocals/guitar), Dean Gavin (drums), and brothers Matthew (guitar) and Stephen Murtagh (bass) came together. They released their debut single ‘Different‘ in 2015, paving the way for their 2018 released debut album ‘Tales From The Backseat‘, which reached number one on the Irish charts.
