ANDO SAN RELEASE NEW SONG
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ando San has dedicated his career to forging an entirely distinct sonic path by seamlessly blending reflective hip-hop with complex, technical progressive metal guitar riffs. Operating as a versatile rapper, producer, and highly skilled guitarist, his creative output seamlessly incorporates elements ranging from soulful, jazzy boom-bap rhythms to intricate instrumental math rock, culminating in a style that manages to be both technically demanding and deeply personal.
Today marks the official release of his latest single, ‘March For Me’, delivered via Sumerian Records. This new offering builds upon the momentum of his debut release with the label, which arrived earlier in the form of the double A-side single, ‘Hype Man’ / ‘Triggas’.
"March For Me is a reclamation song for me,” he explains. “It's about me rising to where I need to be, and my destiny as an artist to grow and be truthfully and authentically myself. I was really inspired by Tyler, The Creator album 'Chromakopia'; the whole album has this militant feel to it, and I wanted to embrace that feeling of power and authority."
Adding to the song's reach, ‘March For Me’ was recently revealed as a featured selection on the soundtrack for ESPN’s seasonal College Football broadcast coverage.
Fresh off wrapping up his debut UK tour supporting Don Broco just last night, Ando San is set to take the stage for his first headline show in London tomorrow evening, before returning home to the United States to embark on a nationwide tour alongside Periphery.
