Award-winning, multi-platinum French-Malian superstar Aya Nakamura has released her new single and music video ‘No Stress,’ offering the first glimpse of her forthcoming album Destinée, arriving this Friday. News of the album coincided with the explosive announcement of her now sold-out Stade de France shows on May 29, 2026, an extraordinary feat that saw 240,000 tickets sold in a single day.

Earlier this week, the global cultural force unveiled the album’s full tracklist, revealing a star-studded list of collaborators, including Colombian-American GRAMMY winner Kali Uchis (“Baby Boy”), Jamaican dancehall powerhouse Shenseea (‘Dis-moi’), British-Nigerian Afrobeats artist JayO (‘Tralala’), French-Haitian kompa sensation Joé Dwèt Filé (‘Baddies’), and rising French R&B singer Kany (‘Pamela’).

Reflecting on the new album, Aya Nakamura shared: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be back with an album that's truly me and, finally, to share it with all of my fans. Destinée is a piece of my soul, and announcing the Stade de France show is like going full-circle. I can't wait to share this incredible journey with you all."

Destinée marks Aya’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, following a decade of groundbreaking releases: the French #1 album DNK (2023), her France Music Award-winning Aya (2020), her global breakthrough Nakamura (2018), now the most-streamed French-language album of all time, and her platinum debut Journal Intime (2017).

The new album and monumental Stade de France concerts (total capacity: 240,000) highlight a remarkable 10-year career defined by sold-out arenas, prestigious magazine covers (including Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Billboard), and culture-shaping performances, such as Vogue World and the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, watched by billions worldwide. As The New York Times wrote: Aya Nakamura, the French-Malian singer, did more than open the Games. She redefined what it means to be French.”

Born in Bamako, Mali, and raised in Aulnay-sous-Bois in the northern suburbs of Paris, Aya descends from a family of griots - West African storytellers - and is the eldest of five siblings. Her sound is a potent fusion of Pop, Afrobeats, Caribbean Zouk, and R&B, distinguished by her singular vocal style, slang-rich lyrical flair, and infectious melodies.

A true global icon, Aya Nakamura’s impact continues to grow. With over 7 billion worldwide streams, she is the most-streamed French female artist in history, followed by more than 25 million fans across social platforms. She also recently became the Global Ambassador for Lancôme, further solidifying her status as one of the most influential artists of her generation.
