COMASTATIC SHARE NEW SONG WITH YOURS TRULY
The Zurich-based alternative outfit Comastatic continues their upward trajectory today with the release of their latest single, ‘Deja vu,’ now available via Hopeless Records. This new offering features a guest appearance from Mikaila Delgado, the powerhouse vocalist of Yours Truly, whose contribution brings a dynamic layer to the band's ever-shifting musical landscape.
The track dives into heavy thematic territory, exploring the friction between escapism and reality. Frontman Mattia Di Paolo offered insight into the inspiration behind the lyrics: “'Deja vu' is about running from yourself. It captures the rush of living fast, the denial that comes with addiction and the moment you realize the damage is already done. It’s about losing control, repeating the same mistakes and finally facing the consequences.”
For Mikaila Delgado, joining forces with the Swiss visionaries was an easy decision. Her enthusiasm for the band's direction is evident as she reflects on the partnership: “I think Comastatic is such an exciting band so I really wanted to put my hand up to be apart of their journey! When I heard Deja Vu I instantly wanted to be on the song and I feel so grateful the guys had me along!”
