EMPRESS OF UNVEILS NEW SONG

Empress Of returns with a brand-new single, ‘Blasting Through The Speakers.’ Co-produced alongside Mike Sabath (Raye, Shawn Mendes), the track arrives after a challenging year shaped by the Altadena fires and channels that experience into a cathartic burst of pop energy.

Reflecting on the release, Empress Of shared: “I’m thrilled to finally share this song. This year really put things into perspective, and music has always been one of the constants in my life. After the fires in Altadena, I couldn’t write for a while—I was scared to even try. But when I made this song, it felt like reconnecting with an old friend who was always there waiting. Empress Of will join Lorde on tour across North America starting next week in Atlanta, with stops in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Portland, Seattle, and more.

‘Blasting Through The Speakers’ marks the beginning of a new era following her acclaimed album For Your Consideration (Giant Music). The bilingual record, named Best New Music by Pitchfork and praised as “dazzling,” embraced camp, fantasy, and saw her stepping fully into the role of executive producer.

Throughout her career, Empress Of has collaborated with chart-toppers like Khalid, innovators such as Blood Orange, Shygirl, Lewis OfMan, and DJ icon Boys Noize.
