GOOD CHARLOTTE DROP FIRST NEW ALBUM IN SEVEN YEARS

Copyright: Jen Rosenstein

Good Charlotte are back with Motel Du Cap, their first new album in seven years and the eighth studio release in their decades-long career. The pop-punk icons - still led by founding members Joel Madden (lead vocals), Benji Madden (guitar, backing vocals), and Paul Thomas (bass)- celebrate 30 years since forming in 1995, joined by longtime bandmates Billy Martin (guitar) and Dean Butterworth (drums).

Ahead of the full release, the band dropped the singles ‘Rejects’ and ‘Stepper,’ offering a preview of the album’s 13 tracks. Motel Du Cap also features guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa (‘Life Is Great’), Zeph (‘Pink Guitar’), Luke Borchelt (‘Deserve Yo’), and Petti Hendrix (‘Vertigo’).

The album was co-produced by Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me the Horizon, and acclaimed producer Zakk Cervini, known for his work with blink-182, Simple Plan, and Yungblud.

Motel Du Cap is available to stream now.
