HALSEY’S BADLANDS CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

American pop singer Halsey’s debut album BADLANDS, released on 28 August 2015, turns 10 this year. To honor a decade of influence, Halsey has revealed a special Badlands 10th-anniversary campaign, which will culminate in the release of three new vinyl packages on 29 August 2025 (exactly one day after the original release date):
Badlands – Decade Edition: a reimagined and rearranged version personally retooled by Halsey, featuring ‘Gasoline’ and ‘Hurricane’ in fresh audio formats.
Badlands: Live from Webster Hall: the first-ever physical vinyl release of her 2019 Webster Hall live album.
Badlands: Anthology: a three‑LP vinyl set with orchestral interpretations, demo tracks, official remixes, and previously unheard rarities.
In her announcement, Halsey said, “I can’t believe it’s been ten years. … BADLANDS remains the most exciting musical journey of my life. I have so many unbelievable things planned for this month to celebrate the album that changed my life and introduced me to the fans I’ll love forever. This is just the beginning.”
BADLANDS was a pivotal breakthrough in alt‑pop: Halsey’s blend of dark pop, synth textures, emotional lyricism, and an intensely curated narrative world helped redefine what it meant to be a modern pop artist.
