HARPY UNLEASHES NEW SONG

Nu-goth provocateur Harpy unleashes her blistering new single ‘Precious’ today - a fierce love anthem where greed masquerades as devotion and desire consumes everything in its wake.

‘Precious’ marks the second release from Harpy’s upcoming debut EP, VII, due out November 7. Drawing inspiration from the seven deadly sins, VII is a dark, visceral journey through vice and temptation, with each track representing one of Harpy’s personal transgressions: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth.

“This song is about my obsession with love — the kind that withers flowers and stops clocks,” explains Harpy. “Love is not an easy thing for me… it can be dangerous. To me, it’s more addictive than any drug… and once I taste it, I must consume it all. I don’t know how to hold love gently — I only know how to take until there’s nothing left. It stops being romance, it’s just a hunger. Feeding. Consuming what I crave completely, until it ceases to exist.”
