Following a string of high-profile EU/UK festival slots and recent support dates with metal icons Kittie, alt-metal outfit Holy Wars return with a vengeance on their fierce new single, ‘Crucify’, out now via Pale Chord/Rise Records BMG.

Co-written and co-produced with Wage War's Cody Quistad, ‘Crucify’ sees Holy Wars amplifying their dark, genre-defying sound. Shifting between haunting melodies and searing screams, the track is both cinematic and visceral - a cathartic anthem built for emotional release and sonic impact. Lyrically, it's a reckoning.

Vocalist Kat Leon reveals a deeply personal origin behind the track, describing it as a response to a toxic past relationship and the grief that followed. ‘Crucify’ becomes more than a song - it’s an exorcism of pain, and a reclamation of power.
