Manchester pop-punk band Hot Milk have just unveiled their new track ‘‘Insubordinate Ingerland’’, from their upcoming sophomore album Corporation P.O.P, scheduled for release on June 27, 2025 via Music for Nations. The new album is shaping up to be a bold, high-energy release packed with sharp political commentary, raw emotions, and punchy alt-rock vibes. The new release follows the album's lead single "90 Seconds to Midnight" unleashed on February 25 and the defiant protest song ‘‘Swallow This’’ released on April 4.
‘‘Insubordinate Ingerland’’ is described as a social commentary about the state of english identity by vocalist Han Mee on Instagram. ‘‘it is a confusing time to be english i feel,, progress seems to have diminished,, i feel stateless or more precisely as if i am a citizen of the whole damn world,, as we all truly are.’’ she continued, ‘‘I think it’s very common for our generation and younger to feel super displaced in this country we call home and I think people all over the world can relate,, the notion of unfounded nationalism feels alien and pathetic… and let’s not get started on the blind loyalty to the royal family from a certain section of the English population’’
The quartet is currently supporting Magnolia Park on their US Vamp tour, before coming back to the UK for summer festival appearances at Slam Dunk in May and 2000 Trees in July.
Corporation P.O.P out June 27, 2025, available for pre-order now.
