The global sensations KATSEYE are prepared to unveil their highly anticipated third EP, titled WILD, which is scheduled for arrival on August 14, 2026, through the partnership of HYBE x Geffen Records. This upcoming collection serves as the official successor to the group’s GRAMMY®-nominated 2025 project, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which achieved a massive commercial milestone by debuting within the top five of the Billboard 200. Fans who are eager to secure the new music can currently access pre-save and pre-order options for WILD through the official links.
In addition to the new music announcement, KATSEYE achieved significant industry recognition yesterday when they were nominated in three major categories for the 52nd American Music Awards, including New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video for the hit ‘Gnarly,’ and Breakthrough Pop Artist. The public can now participate in the selection process as fan voting has officially opened via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram profile for all respective award categories.
Following their triumphant debut at Coachella last weekend, the group is slated to return to the Sahara stage this coming Friday, April 17. Their initial appearance was met with overwhelming critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and various other major outlets citing their set as one of the definitive highlights of Coachella 2026 Weekend One. The Los Angeles Times raved about the performance, noting that “[KATSEYE] proved no this ain’t their debut at their first Coachella performance…the girl group packed the festival field with Eyekons packed shoulder to shoulder as far as the Do LaB.” In a more succinct but equally enthusiastic review, Billboard described the atmosphere in a single word: “Bonkers. It was bonkers.” Meanwhile, People celebrated the set as an example of “Girl Group Greatness,” and NBC’s “TODAY” featured the specific moment KATSEYE invited K-Pop Demon Hunters to the stage for a performance of “Golden” during their Coachella highlights wrap-up.
The festival also served as the launchpad for their latest single, ‘PINKY UP,’ which received its first-ever live rendition during Weekend One. The song was immediately embraced by the public, winning the title of No. 1 favorite new music release of the week in a Billboard reader poll. Critics were equally impressed, with them. describing the track as a “hyperpop club jam… [with] a slightly nihilistic edge to it...” and Complex observing that “KATSEYE is exploring the frequency of fancy in the high-energy music video for their latest single…” The accompanying music video, which can be viewed online now, was directed by Bardia Zeinali and produced by Roisín Moloney. The visual features an array of notable appearances by Vivian Wilson, Mel 4Ever, Katalina, Vhex, and DJ Saturn Rising.
Beyond their Coachella residency, KATSEYE’s busy 2026 schedule includes headlining slots at both the Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals, alongside a performance at The Governors Ball. Full details regarding their upcoming itinerary are provided below. This surge in live activity follows the group’s debut headlining tour in support of BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which saw every single date completely sold out.
KATSEYE continues to represent a uniquely international perspective within the modern pop landscape. Originally brought together through the rigorous selection processes of HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy and the Netflix series Pop Star Academy, the group’s cultural impact has been undeniable. They were recognized as one of Google’s top trending musicians in the United States in 2025 and were recently honored as TikTok’s Global Artist of the Year.
