Global girl group KATSEYE - fresh off their first two GRAMMY® nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their breakout hit ‘Gabriela’ - launched their debut tour on November 15 at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN. The tour takes its name from the group’s new EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (HYBE x Geffen Records), which opened in the top five on the Billboard 200.
After tickets for KATSEYE: The Beautiful Chaos Tour sold out instantly, additional shows were added in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all of which also sold out. The headline run continues tomorrow, November 18, at The Theatre at Great Canadian Toronto.
BEATIFUL CHAOS features the hit ‘Gnarly,’ which has surpassed 100 million global streams, and ‘Gabriela,’ praised by HYPEBEAST as “a bold evolution in [KATSEYE’s] artistic direction.” The group later teamed up with Young Miko for a remix that drew widespread acclaim. Rolling Stone highlighted the release in the wake of KATSEYE’s historic Lollapalooza mainstage set, while Remezcla called the remix “an undeniable Latine queer anthem.”
The group recently earned the MTV VMA for Push Performance of the Year for “Touch” and performed both “Gnarly” and “Gabriela” during the ceremony. ELLE chronicled their milestone night; The FADER declared their performances proof that “they’re up next,” while Harper’s Bazaar praised their “jaw-dropping performance of ‘Gabriela.’” Entertainment Tonight reported, “KATSEYE Slays VMAs,” and interviewed the group on-site.
For Halloween, KATSEYE released a special video inspired by a VMA red-carpet question: “What is your favorite Mariah Carey video?” Bowen Yang of Saturday Night Live appears as a reporter as each member recreates an iconic Carey look — with Carey herself making a cameo after receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Teen Vogue raved, “KATSEYE Goes Full Mariah Carey For Their First Halloween Costume. And we’re obsessed.”
KATSEYE’s impact also extended to fashion when GAP tapped them for the 2025 “Better in Denim” campaign. The commercial. choreographed by Robbie Blue, quickly went viral, inspiring fans to recreate the routine. The ad has surpassed 45 million YouTube views. Bustle praised the group’s cultural momentum, noting, “It seems just about everything the group does goes viral…” while Highsnobiety and Teen Vogue offered behind-the-scenes looks at the shoot.
KATSEYE - Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae - is the first global girl group developed through the K-pop system, as chronicled in HYBE and Geffen Records’ groundbreaking Dream Academy program and the subsequent Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. Named a 2025 Artist to Watch by VEVO DSCVR and TIDAL, the group recently appeared on the digital cover of i-D and sat down with the Associated Press’ Liam McEwan for a new interview.
