KID CUDI RETURNS WITH THIRTEENTH STUDIO ALBUM
GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum artist, producer, actor, and director Kid Cudi returns with his highly anticipated 13th studio album, Free. Earlier this week, Cudi unveiled ‘Mr. Miracle,’ the third single from the project, paired with an in-depth interview on Apple Music’s New Music Daily Radio with Zane Lowe.
The album’s journey began with lead single ‘Neverland,’ accompanied by a short film of the same name, directed by Ti West and produced by Monkeypaw Productions, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
The second single, ‘Grave,’ followed with a striking music video directed by legendary filmmaker Samuel Bayer, known for iconic visuals for Nirvana, The Cranberries, and The Rolling Stones.
Talking about the new record, Kid Cudi says: ‘‘For the past three years I wasn’t really challenging myself. ‘Free’ is me being fearless again and doing something different."
Free arrives on the heels of a record-breaking 2024 for Kid Cudi, a year that saw his breakout hit ‘Day ‘N’ Nite (nightmare)’ officially certified RIAA Diamond - cementing Man on the Moon: The End of Day as the first 2000s hip-hop album to earn multiple Diamond singles.
Just last year, Cudi dropped his ninth studio album, INSANO, followed by its expansive deluxe edition, NITRO MEGA. The release was hailed by Clash as “a lavish return” and secured Cudi his seventh Top 20 debut on the Billboard 200. Now, with Free, he enters yet another bold chapter in his ever-evolving creative legacy.
