LEAP SIGN TO EPITAPH RECORDS AND RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO

London-based alt-rock outfit LEAP has officially joined the Epitaph Records roster, marking a massive milestone for a band Rolling Stone predicts “will be seen on big stages.”
The signing follows the explosive independent success of their debut album, Entropy, which has garnered over 21 million global streams and secured Top 20 chart positions in Germany and Austria since its October 2025 release.
Alongside the signing news, LEAP has unveiled the music video for ‘Sinking Feeling.’ The track perfectly captures the band's signature juxtaposition of high-energy rhythms and somber lyricism.
“We’re all kinda broken in our own ways, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a celebration and a temporary pause on that sinking feeling that we all get sometimes, that unexplained sense of dread.”
For frontman Jack “Jacky” Scott, the partnership with Epitaph represents a shift in scale and validation.
“Epitaph is such an iconic label, and everyone we tell starts taking us seriously once we drop the name lol,” Scott says. “When we started LEAP, we said we were gonna stay fully indie for as long as possible... but as soon as Epitaph came in it was clear the proposition was on a different level... We’re only a few weeks into working together, and it feels like a completely new project already.”
LEAP's origin is one of extreme highs and devastating lows. After his previous project dissolved following a manic episode and being sectioned in a psychiatric ward, Jacky faced the further tragedy of his father's suicide.
Taking his father’s final advice to "Don't flinch. Whatever it is, face it head on. LEAP," he formed the band with friends Hector Cottam, Declan Brown, and Adam Mason. This "raw sonic purge" has created a deep bond with a fanbase that resonates with their honesty.
“I actually love replying to the deep messages from fans... the thought of helping someone through their trauma just by sharing mine or knowing that something positive is coming out of the shitstorm I’ve been through. I’d much rather that than it all be for nothing.”
Coming off a sold-out run in late 2025, LEAP is set to maintain their momentum with a headline tour across the UK and Europe this Spring.
