MAD COOL ANNOUNCE EXPLOSIVE 2026 LINE-UP

Set to celebrate its 10th anniversary next year, Mad Cool has unveiled the first wave of artists confirmed for the 2026 edition, with Foo Fighters, Pulp, Florence + The Machine, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds topping the bill.

Running from July 8 to 11, the festival will once again take place at Madrid’s Iberdrola Music Villaverde site. Organisers have noted that the venue has recently undergone several upgrades, including fewer stages and a reduced overall capacity, aimed at minimising scheduling clashes and overlapping performances.

Marking its 10th anniversary, Mad Cool 2026 will unite more than 70 major artists, with Foo Fighters leading the first wave of headliners.

They’ll share the bill with an impressive range of names, including Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, CMAT, Wolf Alice, Jennie, Moby, The Last Dinner Party, Kings Of Leon, The War On Drugs, Halsey, Teddy Swims, Pixies, and The Black Crowes. David Byrne will also appear, performing his newly released album Who Is The Sky? alongside his timeless classics.

Further additions to the line-up include Kasabian, Jalen Ngonda, The Vaccines, Matt Berninger, Sigrid, Interpol, Holly Humberstone, Midnight Generation, Frost Children, Sadie Jean, Son Mieux, Zimmer90, Chloe Slater, The Reytons, Persia Holder, Overpass, Ttssfu, and Supermodel.

Electronic music fans will also have plenty to celebrate, with a dedicated area showcasing sets from Richie Hawtin, Boys Noize, Polo & Pan, Nina Kraviz, Swimming Paul, Weval, Palms Trax, and Bunt.

The festival will continue to spotlight alternative acts and homegrown Spanish talent. Among them are LA PALOMA, Hoonine, and emerging electronic artists Aerea, Young Prado, and Luxi Villar. The line-up will also feature the upcoming winners of Mad Cool Talent and Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou.

Mad Cool members can access presale tickets from November 17–20, with general sales opening on November 20. Full details here: https://madcoolfestival.es
