MAISIE PETERS ANNOUNCES THIRD STUDIO ALBUM

Following the massive success of her chart-topping breakthrough The Good Witch, acclaimed singer-songwriter Maisie Peters officially returns with the announcement of her third studio album, Florescence. Scheduled for release on Friday, May 15, the album is now available for pre-order alongside a stunning trailer directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg.

The announcement follows a transformative period for Peters. After years spent opening for global icons like Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, the relentless pace of life on the road led her to make a pivotal decision at the end of 2024. Choosing to step back from the "popstar carousel," Peters returned home to ground herself, finding the space necessary to reset both personally and creatively. It was within this quiet chapter of reflection that the emotional foundation of Florescence was built.

Recorded primarily in Nashville, the album sees Peters reuniting with longtime collaborator and two-time Grammy Award winner Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Beyoncé). In a significant career milestone, Peters stepped into the role of co-producer for the first time, working alongside Fitchuk to craft a warm, textured sonic landscape. The 15-track record also features high-profile collaborations with Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford.

Thematically, Florescence acts as a bridge between the heartbreak explored in her previous work and the healing she has found in her current life, having recently reunited with her high school sweetheart. Peters describes the record as a "blossoming," tracking her journey from the "long winters" of her early twenties into a "perfect English spring." The album explores the profound realization that the right love can help heal the wounds of the wrong ones, ultimately celebrating the strength found in self-realization.

To celebrate the announcement, Peters will embark on the ‘Before The Bloom’ global tour, an intimate run of dates designed to mirror the vulnerability of the new material. The tour begins on March 2 at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre before traveling through East Asia, Europe, the UK, and North America.

Fans can get their first taste of the new era next Friday, February 6, with the release of the lead single, ‘My Regards.’
