Multi-platinum, BRIT Award–winning and GRAMMY®-nominated global pop visionary MIKA returns with ‘Immortal Love,’ his brand-new single released today alongside the official launch of the pre-order for Hyperlove, his first English-language studio album since 2019, out January 23 via Republic Records. “Immortal Love” is a shimmering, heartfelt meditation on connection and the unseen forces that accompany us throughout our lives. Partly inspired by a constant presence in his creative world—his beloved 15-year-old golden retriever—the track glows with warmth, nostalgia, and the sense of wonder that has long defined MIKA’s most iconic work. Anchored by a chorus that feels instantly eternal - “It’s just immortal love / There’s just immortal love / We are immortal love” - the single highlights MIKA’s ability to craft pop music that is both meticulously constructed and emotionally fearless.
The new track follows ‘Modern Times,’ a bold, uplifting anthem that signaled the beginning of this new artistic chapter. Described by MIKA as “a cathedral-like cry, for faith and spirit, resisting the grind and weight of life and the passing of time,” the single arrived with a striking official music video that further expanded the visual and emotional world of Hyperlove.
With Hyperlove, MIKA returns to the piano as his creative anchor and embraces a daring reinvention—an album that blends the warmth of analog imperfections with the shimmering precision of electronic pop. Written entirely from the piano and produced using exclusively analog and vintage outboard gear, the record emerges as a living, breathing landscape of vulnerability, grit, longing, and ecstatic release.
The album explores the tension between an increasingly digital world and the delicacy of human emotion—what MIKA calls “the electricity that jumps between the plus and minus of a charge… hyper-love and hyper-living are about embracing that euphoria that helps you make sense of the world around you.”
To usher in this new era, MIKA will bring his dazzling, kaleidoscopic live show back to the UK and Europe in February with fifteen arena dates, including two major UK performances at Manchester AO Arena (February 11) and London’s OVO Arena Wembley (February 12). The tour continues across North America next spring, beginning in Boston before moving through major cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Austin, and more.
