NOAHFINNCE RETURNS WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE
NOAHFINNCE is officially back, and the energy is unmatched. The standout alternative rock artist makes a triumphant return with his highly anticipated single, ‘Mr Overwhelm’, out via Hopeless Records. The release marks the beginning of an incredibly exciting new creative chapter for Noah. Musically, the track charts a fresh sonic path, veering slightly from his signature pop-punk roots into a bolder, more expansive sound landscape, while maintaining the raw vulnerability of a classic, anthemic NOAHFINNCE track. Fans can dive into Mr Overwhelm here, and tune into Noah's official YouTube channel here to watch the accompanying music video, which is set to premiere tonight at 8 PM.
Reflecting on the deeper thematic meaning behind the track, the singer-songwriter shares:
“Mr Overwhelm as a character is the manifestation of the anxiety, fear and hopelessness that comes with experiencing the world in its current dystopic state. The song explores both the realisation that the world full of promise and justice that you’re sold as a kid doesn’t exist, and the natural desire to retreat into fantasy as a result of that. It delves into anemoia - a deep nostalgia or a yearning for a time or place that never existed.”
The excitement surrounding this new era continues to build with the massive announcement that NOAHFINNCE will be sharing the stage with Twenty One Pilots at their highly anticipated All Points East headline date later this summer.Following his praised cover of the rock duo’s track The Judge last year, the pop-punk star is confirmed to join an exceptional lineup featuring Wunderhorse, Kid Kapichi, and more at Victoria Park in East London on Sunday, August 30th.
This return to live music is particularly poignant, as NOAHFINNCE has spent the last year and a half away from the touring circuit to focus entirely on his writing. Throughout this period, he has maintained a transparent and incredibly honest dialogue with his audience about the financial hurdles and soaring costs associated with touring in the modern music landscape. In recognition of these hurdles, April brought the announcement that Noah was named a recipient in Phase One of the UK Artist Touring Fund, a vital initiative organized by the Featured Artists Coalition. Backed by the Musicians' Union and the Music Managers Forum, the UKAT fund provides crucial top-up financial support to artists, ensuring live tours can remain viable while breathing new life into the wider UK live music ecosystem.
The momentum behind Noah's career has been building steadily since the release of his widely acclaimed debut studio album, GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET, which arrived in early 2024 and was followed by a comprehensive deluxe edition later that same year. That triumphant collection introduced a series of powerful singles, including PET WITH THE TISM, an intensely personal track reflecting on Noah’s own autism diagnosis. The track's music video, a creative and nostalgic homage to the iconic 2000s teen classic Mean Girls, is available to watch here. The breakthrough year saw Noah dominate the festival circuit with standout appearances at major events including Download, Isle of Wight, and Bludfest, alongside launching his debut headline tour across North America. He capped off the memorable year with his largest headline tour of the UK to date, which included a completely sold-out night at the historic venue The Fleece in Bristol.
Beyond his accomplishments as a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, NOAHFINNCE has built an immensely impactful platform as a YouTuber, accumulating a dedicated community of over 1 million subscribers. He initially utilized the video platform back in 2015 as a space to share musical covers, and it was through this digital community that he safely and bravely came out as a transgender man. Today, Noah remains a vital, authentic voice for his generation, continually sharing his candid personal experiences navigating life as a trans man, living with ADHD, and fiercely advocating for LGBTQ+ rights across both his YouTube channel and his broader social media platforms.
