NOT ENOUGH SPACE SHARE EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE AHEAD OF DEBUT ALBUM
Floridian quintet Not Enough Space have today released their powerful new single ‘Don’t Let Go’ - the latest preview of their forthcoming debut full-length album, Weaponize Your Rage, due out 12 September via Thriller Records.
‘Don’t Let Go’ confronts the desperate beauty of holding onto hope while everything around you begins to fall apart. With soaring emotion and crushing intensity, the track is a powerful testament to the band’s unique ability to fuse raw vulnerability with unrelenting sonic force.
“‘Don’t Let Go,’ captures the experience of facing struggles and hardships together with your partner,” Not Enough Space explains. “It highlights the importance of holding on through difficult times and not losing sight of each other. Blending soft, somber moments with bursts of energy and intensity, the song reflects the emotional depth of embracing both the highs and lows of love.”
Weaponize Your Rage sees Not Enough Space meet hardship head-on, choosing transformation over surrender. Unflinchingly personal and politically charged, the album reckons with everything from religious trauma to body dysmorphia, channeling anguish into anthems that burn brighter than a thousand suns.
“It’s about transformation through pain,” shares co-vocalist Lizzie Raatma. “When you create art, you make a choice: do you reopen old wounds and let them fester, or do you use them to heal? Music shouldn’t be about letting the past consume you — it should be about turning that darkness into something powerful. If you literally weaponize your rage, it can lift the weight away.”
“It’s okay to be angry,” says co-vocalist Liv Mitchell. “It’s okay to feel all these different emotions. That’s why there are so many shades on the album. It’s about seeing emotion not as weakness, but as strength. Fighting for yourself is important.”
Despite its heavy themes, Weaponize Your Rage doesn’t shy away from sharp wit. The band’s viral 2024 single ‘Primitive’ sparked a wave of attention thanks to a single, breathy gasp mid-song - a moment that crowned Not Enough Space as the tongue-in-cheek pioneers of so-called "moancore." Equal parts rage-bait, satire, and undeniable earworm, the track says less about fitting into a genre and more about embracing attitude without apology.
“Everybody has a different definition of ‘being humble’,” adds Lizzie. “Most think it means not being too cocky. But you need to be careful about underselling yourself. We’re growing as artists, we’re growing as people, and we want to be as true to that as we can – onstage and off. Weaponize Your Rage speaks to all kinds of people. Any band can do anything they want, with any line-up, in any genre. Is there anything more exciting than that?!”
