NOVELISTS RELEASE NEW ALBUM ‘CODA’

French progressive metalcore Novelists have released their fifth studio album CODA, out now via ACKOR music, a French record label created by members of Novelists and LANDMVRKS. The new record is the first album featuring Camille Contreras as lead vocalist since former frontman Tobias Rische’s departure in 2023, who himself replaced original vocalist Mattéo Gelsomino in 2021.

With this fresh addition, Novelists have taken a new direction while maintaining their signature blend of melody and heaviness, merged with emotional songwriting and beautiful vocals, with Contreras introducing fresh energy and dimension to the band’s sound. ‘‘We can not wait to start this new chapter with all of you’’ shared the band on social media.

The quintet is set to play festivals across this summer, including Download at Donington Park on June 25, giving the opportunity for UK fans to hear the album live for the first time. A headline tour announcement is also to be expected soon, as teased by the band on Instagram last month.
