Transcontinental trio SAVE US have officially unveiled their immersive new single, 'Last Of Me', which serves as the latest preview from their upcoming debut full-length album, Death To Something. Scheduled for release on October 16 through Solid State Records, the record was produced by The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers and is available for pre-order starting today.

"'Last of Me' was an emotional challenge for me," explains vocalist Miguel Owls. "I had so much I wanted to say, but I really pushed to keep it clear and honest without feeling wordy or cheesy. It's about finally breaking free from a toxic relationship and recognizing the grip it had on you for so long. There’s a lot of weight behind that realization, but also a sense of release. I truly hope this song helps people find the strength to let go, move forward, and start healing."

The founding story behind SAVE US and how its international members connected is remarkably straightforward. Originating from California's Central Valley, Owls spent 2023 quietly building a social media following by regularly uploading vocal covers, never anticipating that his future musical collaborators would contact him directly through his inbox.

Based in Bristol, UK, Biddiscombe happened across one of Owls' Architects covers and reached out via TikTok. The pair bonded immediately and began writing material together despite being separated by more than 5,000 miles. Balancing a factory job that ran from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Owls routinely rose at 5:00 AM to collaborate with Chris and Benji prior to his shifts. The group tracked several compositions remotely before ever meeting face-to-face, a arrangement that culminated in the singer traveling to the UK to film the video for "Distance" off their LUCID EP. The single resonated deeply with fans, going on to surpass 2.6 million streams on Spotify. Building on that foundation, the outfit sustained their momentum with 2024's EXIST EP, eventually securing a record deal with Solid State a year later and relocating temporarily to Michigan to work alongside sought-after producer Landon Tewers.

Ultimately, the band's moniker directly embodies their collective journey.

"Chris and Benji were both ready to stop doing music," Owls reveals. "I was in the same boat. We were all on the edge of letting our dreams go. Out of nowhere, we found each other, went all the way in together, and the band genuinely saved us. We're always dabbling in emotion, so our goal is to reach you on a human level."

That objective is fully realized across Death To Something, a project that effectively restored the band members' shared musical purpose.
