Emerging alt/rock sensation SerpentS have officially returned with their latest explosive single, ‘Wetter Than Revenge,’ serving as the newest preview of their highly anticipated upcoming EP, Let Loose & Join A Cult, which is slated for release early next year. This playful new track is utterly relentless and completely impossible to ignore from the very first note.

Co-writer and vocalist Eli shares their excitement, stating, “This song is our Billie Jean. We were almost too scared to release it into the world because we believe this song is so powerful. It’s an alt rock feminine rage anthem with a western inspired music video - what’s not to love?” Fans can listen to the track right now, while making sure to keep their eyes peeled for the official music video, which is dropping next week.

Even though they are relatively fresh faces within the alternative music scene, ‘Wetter Than Revenge’ proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that SerpentS are going from strength to strength, rapidly solidifying their well-deserved status as one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the UK. This brilliant new offering comes directly on the heels of their previously released singles, ‘Midnight Murderess’ and their striking debut, ‘Nerve,’ which originally arrived in July accompanied by a fun, 80s-inspired music video that is also available to watch online.

Hailing proudly from Manchester, the four close friends have already accomplished an incredible amount, including selling out headline shows, packing out festival tents, and heading out on tour supporting major acts such as Mouth Culture, Crawlers, Au/Ra, and many others. Looking ahead, SerpentS are gearing up to play a massive milestone performance: their very own debut headline show in Manchester at Soup, scheduled for November 14th. Tickets for this eagerly awaited hometown show are on sale now.

Adding to their incredible journey, the very first studio session that SerpentS ever undertook happened to be alongside members of two of their absolute favourite bands, fellow Manchester rockers Pale Waves and American alt/rock trio Pvris. Having grown up listening to these influential artists, participating in such a collaboration was a wonderfully surreal experience, and one that the band members promise they will never take for granted. The fruitful end result of that momentous session is a currently unreleased track that is confirmed to appear on the band's upcoming debut EP, dropping in 2027.

The four-piece originally crossed paths while attending college and began playing music together almost instantly. Their dedication was absolute from day one; they even squeezed themselves into a tiny studio flat until they could finally secure a proper house, purely so they could live and write music together every single day. The dedicated group even routinely skipped their college classes to write songs down in their basement. SerpentS was officially born during a very transformative period of their lives, a time when they felt constantly surrounded by snake symbolism everywhere they turned. Interpreting this as a clear sign from the universe, they adopted the name SerpentS, and the rest is history. Although they have spent years playing music together both on and off the stage, Eli, Cerys, Josh, and Kian all agree that this is the first time they genuinely feel excited and truly ready to share their art with the world.
