SIGRID ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM

Norwegian pop singer Sigrid has officially announced her upcoming album, There’s Always More That I Could Say, introducing the project with its cathartic lead single, ‘Fort Knox.’ The track offers a bold glimpse into a more emotionally raw and introspective era for the Norwegian pop star, setting the tone for what promises to be her most personal record yet.

Now, Sigrid has confirmed that both ‘Jellyfish’ and her latest single ‘Fort Knox’ will feature on her upcoming third studio album, There’s Always More That I Could Say, set for release on 24 October via Island/EMI.

Built around a euphoric synth bassline, “Fort Knox” channels the raw energy of heartbreak, with Sigrid using the iconic U.S. military vault as a powerful metaphor for emotional self-protection. “This time, I’m gonna lock my love in a box / And safeguard it like it’s Fort Knox,” she declares, capturing both vulnerability and defiance in a single breath.

The upcoming album was recorded in a studio by the harbour in Bergen, Norway, where Sigrid took a conscious step back from the pressures of “content culture.” According to a press release, the project allowed her to “rediscover the joy of making music simply for the love of it,” marking a return to creative freedom and authenticity.

The singer-songwriter returned last month with ‘Jellyfish,’ her first new music since the 2023 EP The Hype. Her last full-length studio album, How To Let Go, was released in 2022.
