SIGRID RELEASES NEW SONG

Norwegian pop singer-songwriter Sigrid has released a brand new song titled ‘Jellyfish’ via Island/EMI. The first release from Sigrid's new era, ‘Jellyfish’ is her first music following 2023's The Hype EP. Sigrid plays TRNSMT festival this weekend, plus Latitude, Tramlines and Y Not this summer.

Talking about the new song, Sigrid shared: "It’s my slightly more free-spirited and joyous side," Sigrid says of Jellyfish. "I wanted it to feel easy — like a Scandinavian summer. Flirting can feel so chaotic and stupid, but that’s the best part of it.”

“I love using my voice as a vessel to pour my heart out,” she explained, “but on this song, I wanted it to sound carefree, joyful and playful – maybe a bit nonchalant.”
