SINCE 2000 DROP NEW EP

Hailing from Glasgow, the pop-metal outfit Since 2000 have officially dropped their latest EP, neverland [CHAPTER II], out today through Easy Life Records. To celebrate the arrival of the record, the group has also premiered the official music video for their new single, ‘Nosferatũ’, which stands out as one of the most daring and heart-wrenching highlights of the entire EP.
Discussing the inspiration behind the new track ‘Nosferatũ’, frontman Dan Romano explains, “This is collectively one of our favourite songs from the EP. We wanted to write a big, anthemic and emotional pop song without re-treading any ground we’d covered on ‘chapter I’.”
Elaborating further on the track's deeper meaning, Romano adds: “The message of this song is about having to kill off a part of yourself in order to grow and move on to a better place. It's a break up song, but the person you're breaking up with is you.”
Serving as the definitive conclusion to their ongoing saga, neverland [CHAPTER II] stands as the second and final chapter of the neverland series from Since 2000. This release effectively rounds out the coming-of-age narrative that was initially established in neverland, chapter I. While the debut chapter focused on the tentative feelings of emergence and uncertainty, this concluding effort dives directly into the grittier truths of adulthood, addressing the fading of innocence, the weight of unresolved trauma, and the grueling process of confronting one's own shadow self. Characterized by the band as their most intense, visceral, and significant collection of music to date, the EP represents a bold shift in both sound and substance. Now available through Easy Life Records, the project showcases a group expanding their creative horizons while remaining tethered to the raw emotionality that first defined their identity.
Throughout the tracks, Since 2000 treat memory as a living narrative, weaving echoes of their history into a more conscious and wide-reaching present.
