Taking the step from perennial support act to selling out the same venues with their own name at the top of the ticket is a pivotal transition for any band. On their debut headline tour across the UK, Tropic Gold got on with proving that they are the direction everyone should be looking, starting with London, Downstairs at the Dome.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: THE HU AT UEA, NORWICH 11/10/26
Visiting the legendary UEA in Norwich tonight, to witness The HU rounding off their UK leg of their Warrior Chant Tour. Being brought along for the ride are SKÁLD, making sure that tonight is more throat singing and traditional instruments than what Norwich is normally used to.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: DON BROCO AT HERE AT OUTERNET, LONDON 12/10/26
There is something inherently sacred about a mid-sized venue sweating at capacity. Forget the distant blare of arena tours for a second - London got up close and personal, and profoundly bruised on a Monday night at Here at Outernet, courtesy of a triple-threat lineup. If you weren't in the room, consider this your official FOMO warning, as Don Broco brought the moves, the grooves and the sweat to the London stop of their Nightmare Tripping tour.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: (HED)P.E. AT THE ADRIAN FLUX WATERFRONT, NORWICH 07/10/26
With (Hed)p.e.’s return to Norwich, there is plenty to look forward to already, that’s not even taking into account the fact that they brought both veterans Cold and fresh blood MU. A combination that brought a quite varied night from the word go. Whilst the running order of the bands felt slightly off to me, the quality throughout the night was hands down, spot on.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: LAKE MALICE AT THE GARAGE, LONDON 09/10/26
Lake Malice have one big question to ask with their debut album I Wanna Know If It's Real - not just the title, but a scream into the void of modern life, social media and matters more existential. Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall bought their dancing shoes for the dedicated crowd at The Garage to see off the end of their 2026 headline tour in style.

London six-piece Man/Woman/Chainsaw delivered an electrifying performance at Brighton’s Concorde 2 on September 30th. LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: BEARTOOTH AT THE O2 ACADEMY BRIXTON, LONDON 03/10/26
“You've probably heard way too much about my private life over the past few months”, Caleb Shomo, the magnetic frontman of the Ohio Electro-punkcore aficionados Beartooth, acknowledged to an excitable Brixton Academy. Indeed, 2026 has been quite a sensational year in multiple ways for the band, with not only a new album, but a media frenzy around Shomo coming out as - in his own words - a proudly gay man. Shomo’s fearless embracing of his new public persona, running alongside a more optimistic and headstrong version of Beartooth has culminated in a standout album that was ready to be celebrated in London.

British singer-songwriter Luvcat sold out a special intimate anniversary show at Soho’s The Box in just under five minutes to celebrate one year of her debut album ‘Vicious Delicious’, which was released on October 31st 2025. Upon entering the venue, audience members were handed a letter stamped with lipstick kisses and given a rose, immediately setting the tone for the evening.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: TRASH BOAT AT KOKO, LONDON 02/10/26
There may be nothing more feral than a Trash Boat fan that has been starved of the live experience of the St Albans quartet for a number of months. Camden’s iconic KOKO probably wasn't fully prepared for the cathartic carnage about to be released for the special tenth anniversary show.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: THE MOLOTOVS AT THE O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN, LONDON 25/09/26
The Molotovs, sibling duo Mathew and Issey Cartlidge, brought explosive energy and undeniable chemistry to the O2 Forum Kentish Town on September 25th, opening the first of two headline shows at the iconic North London venue. The atmosphere inside the 2,300-capacity venue was electric. The sold-out performance demonstrated exactly why the young band has been turning heads across the UK punk and rock scene recently.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: PALE WAVES AT KOKO, LONDON 25/09/26
Last Friday night Pale Waves took over a packed KOKO in Camden, bringing a fresh setlist, two fantastic support acts, and a sold-out crowd ready to tear the house down. A Pale Waves show is not your standard concert; it is truly an experience where anthemic alt-rock and unapologetic self-expression merge into one, where fuzzy guitars meet unfiltered singalongs, and every corner of the room just radiates pure queer joy.
LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: THE WATERBOYS AT THE O2 ARENA, LONDON 12/09/26
Few bands could play their biggest, career-defining hits in the first act of an arena show and still hold the audience’s attention for another two hours. But Mike Scott has never played by the rules. On September 12th, The Waterboys brought their 2026 international Fisherman’s Blues Revue tour to a close at London’s O2 Arena with a nearly three-hour performance that wasn’t just a predictable trip down memory lane. Instead, the show channelled the raw, unruly energy of the band’s late 1980s Celtic folk-rock era.
