Takedown Festival has announced a major milestone as PRESIDENT’s standout performance at Takedown Festival 2026 is officially shortlisted for Festival Performance of the Year at the upcoming UK Festival Awards 2026.
In addition to the festival's recognition on the national stage, Sarah Harris, who runs Takedown Festival, has been nominated for Promoter of the Year at the Women In Live Music Awards for her work on the event.
The shortlist placement puts the independent, grassroots event alongside legacy UK institutions, including the Isle of Wight Festival and Parklife.
Speaking on the recognition, Kai and Sarah Harris of Takedown Festival Ltd state:
