TAKEDOWN FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES TEN MORE BANDS FOR 2026
Award-nominated independent rock and metal event Takedown Festival has announced ten additional acts for its highly anticipated 2026 edition, set to take over Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April 2026. The festival will once again bring two days of pure heavy music energy to the south coast.
Among the new additions are Graphic Nature, one of the UK’s most exciting new heavy acts, and The Hara, whose explosive alt-rock sound continues to push creative boundaries. Both bands will perform on Saturday, alongside Mason Hill, The Bottom Line, Mould, Waterlines, and Slackrr.
The Friday lineup grows stronger with the addition of The Wildhearts, INME, and Kill The Lights, joining an already stacked bill.
Headlining this year’s event will be the mysterious masked collective PRESIDENT, taking on their first-ever festival headline slot. Known for their chaotic energy and unpredictable performances, PRESIDENT’s set promises to be a defining moment in the band’s meteoric rise.
Also topping the lineup are Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, bringing decades of hard rock firepower and a special Motörhead celebration to the stage.
Graphic Nature shared their excitement: “We’re stoked to announce that we will be headlining the Metal For Good Stage at Takedown Festival 2026. A cause close to our hearts. We are all part of a unique community in the metal world. Our message is always about improving wellbeing within ourselves, something that Metal For Good connects with”
The Hara added: “We are absolutely buzzing to be playing Takedown festival for the first time next year! Our new album THE FALLOUT drops January so we can’t wait to play some new music and open up the pits!!!”
With its mix of emerging talent and legendary names, Takedown Festival 2026 is shaping up to be one of the standout events of the UK rock and metal calendar.
