THE HARA unveil their newest single, ‘Kings’, a track steeped in the bitter sting of broken trust.

‘Kings’ is the latest preview of their forthcoming album The Fallout, due for release on 23 January via Mascot Records. The band will embark on a UK tour throughout February and March 2026, with two special album-launch shows set for London and Manchester in January.

Discussing the track’s heavy, metallic edge, the band shares: ‘‘This song is about losing trust. It's hard to know what's real sometimes in an industry built on dreams. When so many people make promises they can't keep, you start to become cynical of everyone. I see the black in your eyes, I've found the monochrome you're hiding. ' Even when you have success, you believe there's always got to be a catch, or it won't last forever. There is still an undertone of hope and belief portrayed through the lens of anger and frustration in this song, though, 'you can take this part of me, burn the heaven down that I live in, basically, you can keep beating us down, but we will still find a way to make it out the other end."

2025 has seen THE HARA tear through the European festival circuit, delivering standout performances at Mighty Sounds and a surprise set at Rock For People in the Czech Republic, alongside appearances at 2000 Trees and Boomtown Festival in the UK. They supported Nothing More in Switzerland, stormed across the continent on their own headline run, and in October capped it off with a full UK tour alongside As December Falls.

‘Kings’ is the latest single taken from the album, following Violence, which featured As December Falls vocalist Bethany Hunter Jiménez. That track delved into the dynamics of a two-way toxic relationship, drawn from real personal experience.

The high-voltage “Easier to Die” continues the thread, exploring the loss of hope in the pursuit of success and the pull of intrusive, negative thoughts—a theme that followed the dark, intoxicating “Stay.” It’s the fusion of the heavy and the deeply personal that charges their music with such electricity, making their live show an unforgettable experience—something anyone who’s seen them can attest to.

The Fallout gives the band a space to be brutally honest and creatively unrestrained. “Each song is a representation of the suffering I feel internally and how it manifests in different ways throughout my everyday life, relationships, and as the frontman of THE HARA,” Josh explains. “I’m still learning to find healthy ways to cope with my mental health, but sometimes in the moment, it’s easier to self-destruct, because even if the outcome is negative, it’s still better than facing the unknown - ‘The Fallout.’”

Their riotous blend of alternative rock, metalcore, and emo has already seen them seize the live circuit, earning support slots with pop-punk heavyweights Sum 41, Nothing More, Escape the Fate, As December Falls, and Ice Nine Kills. They’ve lit up major festivals including Download, Slam Dunk, 2000 Trees, Kendal Calling, TRNSMT, Tramlines, Truck, Boomtown Fair, and delivered massive main stage sets at both Reading and Leeds Festivals, as well as at Rock For People and Mighty Sounds in the Czech Republic.

"This album is probably the purest, rawest version of us," asserts Josh. "Musically, lyrically, everything feels the most authentic we've been. This is really who we are."
