THE TEMPER TRAP RETURN WITH NEW SONG

Australian indie outfit The Temper Trap have officially returned with their brand-new single, ‘Lucky Dimes,’ marking their first original release in nearly a decade. The track ends a long silence from the indie-rock favourites, whose last album Thick as Thieves dropped back in 2016.

‘Lucky Dimes’ arrives after a flurry of cryptic teasers on social media, which stirred excitement among longtime fans. With its anthemic sound and cinematic energy, the single signals a fresh chapter for the band while staying true to the sweeping, emotive style that made them a household name.

The band will also be making their long-awaited return to the stage with a limited run of headline shows set for later this year. Marking their first live performances since re-emerging with new music in 2025, the band will play four special dates across London, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles. The tour kicks off with a triumphant UK homecoming at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 2 November, offering fans the first chance to experience their new material live.
