TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB CELEBRATE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF DEBUT ALBUM WITH HUGE LONDON OUTDOOR SHOW

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut album Tourist History, beloved Northern Irish indie band Two Door Cinema Club have announced a massive outdoor show at London’s Crystal Palace Park on Friday, 26 June 2026. The band will perform Tourist History in full, alongside a selection of their biggest hits.

They’ll be joined by an impressive lineup of special guests, including The Vaccines, who will perform their debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, as well as alt-pop artist James Marriott and indie rock outfit The Royston Club.

Two Door Cinema Club shared: “London is the first place outside of Ireland we called home. We recorded Tourist History in this city, and it’s been the setting for so many iconic moments in our career. We’re proud to be Irish, but this also feels like a hometown show for us. London knows how it’s done, so we can’t wait to celebrate with you.”

Fans can sign up for the artist pre-sale from 9AM on Wednesday, 8 October via www.twodoorcinemaclub.com.
General sale begins at 9AM on Friday, 10 October via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Hailing from Bangor and Donaghadee, Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club first burst onto the scene with their acclaimed debut album Tourist History, featuring standout singles ‘What You Know’, ‘Something Good Can Work’, and ‘Undercover Martyn.’ Fusing guitar-driven post-punk hooks with shimmering electronic polish, the record quickly became a defining release of its era.

Formed by Alex Trimble (vocals, guitar, programming), Sam Halliday (guitar, vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, vocals), the trio released Tourist History in 2010. The album topped the Irish charts, earned them a spot on the BBC’s prestigious Sound of 2010 poll, and catapulted the band from writing songs in a Bangor garage to headlining festival main stages worldwide. The record’s enduring appeal remains clear, with “What You Know” surpassing 1 billion streams globally on Spotify.

Following their breakthrough, Two Door Cinema Club continued to evolve sonically, achieving a UK Top 2 album with 2012’s Beacon, followed by Gameshow, False Alarm, and Keep On Smiling - all of which reached the UK Top 10. These releases cemented their reputation as global arena headliners and festival favourites.

Most recently, in 2024, the band completed a sold-out 30-date amphitheatre tour across the United States, followed by an Australian arena run that culminated in a show-stopping performance at the Sydney Opera House — a testament to their enduring worldwide appeal. Now, they return to the capital to celebrate 15 years of Tourist History with a huge outdoor show at London’s Crystal Palace Park.

Joining them are The Vaccines, long-time fixtures of London’s indie scene. Since their platinum-selling 2011 debut What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?, the band have become festival mainstays with hits spanning Come of Age, English Graffiti, Combat Sports, Back in Love City, and Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations. For this special occasion, they’ll perform their debut album in full.

Also taking the stage is alternative artist James Marriott, whose distinctive blend of indie and alt-pop has propelled him to sold-out tours across the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, with appearances at Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight Festival, and Pinkpop.

Completing the bill are rising Welsh quartet The Royston Club, known for their melodic guitar lines, infectious choruses, and uplifting brand of indie rock that’s sure to ignite Crystal Palace Park this summer.

London’s Crystal Palace Park - the city’s original outdoor concert venue - has hosted some of the most iconic artists of all time, from The Rolling Stones and Bob Marley to Pink Floyd. Following a stellar 2025 season featuring Deftones and RÜFÜS DU SOL, the park will once again welcome a lineup of world-class talent in 2026.
