TX2 ANNOUNCE UK HEADLINE TOUR
Fresh off the back of a monumental, career-defining set at Download Festival 2026 just last weekend, TX2 have officially revealed plans for a headline tour across the UK in March 2027. This highly anticipated run of dates is set to kick off on March 4th at London's legendary Electric Ballroom, an occasion that will mark the band's largest UK headline performance to date. From there, the tour will travel through Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, and Glasgow, before wrapping up with a final show in Nottingham on March 12th.
Speaking of the tour, vocalist Evan Thomas (TX2) shares, “Download was absolute chaos in the best possible way. The UK showed up, screamed every word, and made us feel right at home. We’ve always believed this community was bigger than borders, genders, sexuality, and this weekend proved it. So now it’s time to do what we’ve been talking about for a long time - come back and headline our own tour. If Download was any indication, we’re going to make some unforgettable memories together.”
The full routing for the March 2027 tour features London Electric Ballroom on the 4th, Southampton 1856 on the 6th, Bristol Thekla on the 7th, Manchester Academy 2 on the 9th, Glasgow Cathouse on the 10th, and Nottingham Rescue Rooms on the 12th.
In tandem with the massive tour announcement, TX2 have also recently dropped their huge new single, ‘Confession’. The deeply personal and intensely cathartic track represents one of the band's most emotionally charged releases to date, notably seeing bassist Corky step forward to share vocal duties alongside frontman Evan Thomas.
Speaking of the new single, Evan Thomas (TX2) shares, “I grew up religious, and as a queer person when I was growing up I struggled hard with my sexuality. I thought there was a demon in me and something was wrong. Then I realized the problem wasn’t me, it was religion directly conflicting with science and my attraction. Confession was my chance to regain that power I felt like I lost when I first realized I wasn’t straight. For Corky on the other hand, it’s much more. She spent even longer feeling guilty and trapped and this is her chance to let it out. This song is powerful to us.”
