WAGE WAR ANNOUNCE NEW EP
Wage War - featuring Briton Bond, Cody Quistad, Seth Blake, Chris Gaylord, and Stephen Kluesener - have officially announced their upcoming EP, It Calls Me By Name. Scheduled for release on April 17, 2026, via Fearless Records.
To celebrate, they’ve unleashed the video for ‘SONG OF THE SWAMP,’ and it is arguably the most brutal track they’ve put out in years.
Inspired by the lethal predators of their home state, the song is pure sonic aggression, think pummeling percussion and "overpowering" vocals. The band says this EP is all about returning to their roots and amplifying their metal side to the absolute max.
On the EP, the band says, "It Calls Me By Name is about being drawn to your roots. This isn't a concept EP but is meant to live in its own world. Five tracks shaped by Florida, the swamp, and the relentless aggression of nature. Built heavy, but still driven by the hooks that have defined us. It's our signature sound amplified and pushed further into metal than we've ever taken it."
