AVATAR UNLEASH NEW ALBUM

The heavy metal visionaries collectively known as AVATAR - vocalist Johannes Eckerström, guitarists Jonas Jarlsbyand Tim Öhrström, bassist Henrik Sandelin, and drummer John Alfredsson - have unleashed their latest masterwork, Don’t Go in the Forest.

Accompanying the release, the band has revealed the stunning and sinister video for the album’s title track, out now.

Frontman Johannes Eckerström describes the record as a bold leap into new creative territory: ‘‘The secret ingredient is that we still feel like we're just getting started. ‘Don't Go In The Forest’ is an album filled to the brim with stuff we've never done before. It's all songs and concepts we haven't been close to touch until now. The mind is wild and we have lost ourselves in the darkest woods, filled with memories, and fantasies. Forbidden thoughts that must be spoken.

To mark the Halloween release of Don’t Go in the Forest, AVATAR are inviting fans to join a special celebration. Across selected independent record stores in the UK, a scavenger hunt will send fans searching for giant red balloons. Those lucky enough to find one can pop it to reveal hidden tickets for AVATAR’s upcoming 2026 In The Airwaves tour.
