DELILAH BON UNLEASHES PROTEST ANTHEM

Unfiltered and fueled by raw fury, "Brat punk" trailblazer Delilah Bon has unleashed a scathing new surprise single. 'ILLEGAL ALIENS' serves as a blistering protest anthem, written in direct response to the systemic human-rights violations unfolding across the Atlantic, within local communities, and behind closed doors.

For twelve months, the track remained locked away as Bon grappled with the weight of self-censorship; she feared that vocalizing these truths might lead to social media backlash or, more critically, bar her from entering the United States for her scheduled tour. However, following the cancellation of those U.S. dates, the shackles are off. There is no longer a reason to remain quiet, and as she notes, "People need protest music and now is the right moment to speak out."

Delilah Bon provided insight into the visceral empathy and anger that forced this song into existence: "Seeing the brutality towards immigrants - many of which have lived and worked in the US their whole lives - imprisoned in these inhumane camps breaks my heart. There’s thousands of kids alone in those camps, families are searching for their loved ones. I wrote this song a year ago today and after cancelling my US tour it felt like a moment to finally release it. This song is about activism and protest, pointing the finger at those that divide us and uniting together in our collective rage.”

The release has already faced significant pushback; the track is currently censored and blocked in specific regions overseas, while social media platforms have moved to mute the audio. To bypass these digital barriers, direct downloads of the single have been made available to the public.

In a move to turn art into tangible action, Delilah Bon has pledged that proceeds from 'ILLEGAL ALIENS'. alongside a curated selection of tracks from her existing discography, will be donated this month to MIRAC (Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee).

Following the recent update on her tour status, Delilah Bon has shed light on the sobering reality behind the cancellation of her US dates. As tensions escalate across the States, with ICE presence intensifying and the detention of immigrants and people of color rising, fans expressed deep concern for the safety of an outspoken LGBTQ+ protest artist. Given the modest size of her touring crew, the logistical and security risks became impossible to ignore.

"My crowds are very diverse in the US," Bon explains. "I have many POC fans that are in hiding, many trans fans who are afraid of being body searched by federal agents and it filled me with rage imagining my shows becoming a target. My fans were so supportive of my decision, I had many people reach out to me and offer support."

Refusing to let the momentum of the movement stall, Delilah Bon is pivoting her focus toward a massive charity headline show in Leeds, scheduled for May 2026. This event is envisioned as a dedicated tribute to her American audience, designed specifically to raise funds for families devastated by ICE raids and forced separations.

To ensure her overseas supporters can still participate in the experience, the entire performance will be professionally filmed and recorded, with plans in motion for a high-definition live stream.
