DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL UNVEILS DISTRICT X LINE-UP
Following the record-breaking sell-out of all weekend camping tickets, Download Festival is thrilled to reveal the 2026 line-up for District X, the festival’s legendary late-night entertainment hub. From Wednesday 10 June to Sunday 14 June, District X will transform into the ultimate playground for the Download family, featuring an eclectic mix of live music, DJ sets, comedy, and high-octane alternative entertainment.
Leading the charge in a move that promises to be the weekend’s biggest singalong, 90s boyband icons Five will make their Download debut. Following in the footsteps of previous "guilty pleasure" legends, the group will bring high-energy hits like "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)" and "Everybody Get Up" to the hallowed tarmac. The musical diversity continues with Electric Six bringing their infectious brand of rock-disco, a special intimate acoustic performance from The All-American Rejects, and the return of Bat Sabbath, the legendary Black Sabbath tribute alter-ego of the Cancer Bats. Raw energy and rap-rock fusion will also be provided by Dune Rats and Frozemode.
District X remains the home of the unconventional, featuring a curated selection of cult favorites and viral stars. This year’s highlights include TokenGrass, a bluegrass tribute to the mysterious Sleep Token, and the chaotic Nic Cage Against The Machine, a Rage Against The Machine tribute fronted by a Nicolas Cage impersonator. Viral sensation James B. Partridge will also take the stage for a round of "Primary School Bangers" for those looking to relive their assembly-hall glory days, alongside the celebrated Scottish accordion player RuMac.
For those seeking a break from the mosh pit, The Comedy Store returns with a massive bill of over 25 acts including Thomas Green, Felicity Ward, Matt Bragg, and Sikisa. Fans of the spoken word can catch live tapings of popular shows throughout the weekend, featuring high-profile appearances from RØRY’s ADHD Love, Sappenin’ Podcast, and The Metal Roundup Podcast.
When the main stages go dark, District X stays loud with curated DJ sets from the likes of Creeper, Modestep, Dick & Dom, and Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland. Interactive favorites such as Bongo’s Bingo, Heavy Metal Sports, and Live Band Karaoke ensure the party continues until the early hours of the morning.
District X will run alongside the main festival headliners Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park. While weekend camping is sold out, a limited number of day tickets and non-camping weekend tickets remain. For more information and the full schedule, visit the official festival website.
