The global K-Pop icons BTS have returned with their fifth studio album, titled ARIRANG. The release follows a hiatus of roughly three years and nine months, positioning the group's long-awaited reunion as a pivotal event destined to be a permanent fixture in the annals of pop culture history.

ARIRANG serves as a sonic vessel that encapsulates the core identity of BTS while exploring the universal spectrum of human emotion. By drawing inspiration from "Arirang", the quintessential Korean folk song, the album functions as a symbolic bridge between the group’s cultural heritage and the contemporary perspectives they hold in 2026. Just as its namesake folk song has remained a timeless cultural pillar, this album aims to foster a deep connection across diverse generations and borders, establishing a lasting legacy rooted in collective feeling.

Throughout the 14-track collection, the members of BTS contemplate the trajectory of their career thus far, distilling their personal growth and internal dialogues into music that portrays their current, authentic selves. The album’s opening half establishes a commanding energy: it begins with ‘Body to Body,’ a high-octane anthem designed for the shared euphoria of live performances, and moves into ‘Hooligan,’ a track that chronicles their path as pioneers carving out new territory for others to follow. The journey continues with ‘Aliens,’ which mirrors the group’s unique ambitions and their method of interacting with the world, followed by the high-energy return signaled in ‘FYA,’ and culminates in ‘2.0,’ a song that highlights their ongoing evolution and metamorphosis.

A central turning point in the album arrives with the interlude ‘No. 29,’ which incorporates the historic reverberations of the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok. This leads into a second half defined by a sprawling emotional narrative: the determination to persist found in ‘SWIM,’ the resilience required to navigate life’s repetitive nature in ‘Merry Go Round,’ and the vulnerable, relatable sentiments felt both under the spotlight and in private moments within ‘NORMAL.’ The closing chapters further explore the instinctual drive for freedom in ‘Like Animals,’ the quiet self-assurance of ‘they don’t know ’bout us,’ and the intensity of deep attraction in ‘One More Night.’ Finally, the record draws to a close with ‘Please’ and ‘Into the Sun,’ offering a sincere vow to remain united regardless of what the future holds.

The band have officially announced their long-awaited 2026 World Tour, marking the group’s return to the global stage and a historic reunion with fans worldwide. The tour will be BTS’s first full-scale world tour in several years and is expected to be one of the most significant live music events of the decade.

The 2026 World Tour will span multiple continents, including Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America, with performances planned in major stadiums and arenas. The tour celebrates BTS’s enduring legacy, their evolution as artists, and the unbreakable bond with their global fanbase, ARMY.

The tour is set to launch in April 2026 and will continue through March 2027, spanning multiple continents and major global cities. Additional dates extending into 2027 are currently in development, with further announcements expected for Japan, the Middle East, and other regions.

As part of the European leg, BTS have confirmed two landmark performances in London, taking place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on Monday, 6 July 2026 and Tuesday, 7 July 2026. These two shows mark BTS’s return to the UK capital and are expected to be among the most in-demand dates of the tour.

Since their debut, BTS have redefined global pop culture, breaking records, selling out stadiums worldwide, and using their platform to inspire millions. The 2026 World Tour is poised to further cement their status as one of the most influential artists of their generation.
