MORE ACTS ANNOUNCED FOR SNOW PATROL’S HUGE OPEN-AIR SHOW
The lineup for Snow Patrol’s massive open-air event at London’s Crystal Palace Park just got even bigger. Organizers have officially confirmed that Amy Macdonald and The Amazons will be joining the Northern Irish alt-rock titans on Friday 3 July 2026. This star-studded bill also features special guests Rag ‘N’ Bone Man and Nieve Ella.
If you want to be part of this summer highlight, tickets are available for purchase right now through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
A true original who has always marched to the beat of her own drum, Amy Macdonald stands as one of Scotland’s most successful musical exports. Her reputation is built on a foundation of "irrepressible attitude," a quality that shines through in her songwriting and her celebrated live sets. Her career statistics are nothing short of staggering, with over 12 million records sold worldwide, four Top 5 albums, including two chart-toppers and more than one billion streams and six million monthly Spotify listeners.
Having recently captivated audiences with her latest collection of tracks, Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?, she is set to prove once again why she remains a beloved global force when she arrives at Crystal Palace Park.
Bringing a surge of "full throttle intensity," The Amazons are set to ignite the stage this summer. Following the launch of their album 21st Century Fiction last year, the band has pivoted toward a "bold new sound." While fans can still expect the heavy riffs and aggressive energy they are known for, their new material introduces a layer of "introspection, energy and grandiose" that takes their raucous live reputation to new heights.
Since their mainstream breakthrough with 2003’s Final Straw, Snow Patrol have remained a dominant fixture in the rock landscape. Their trajectory includes the multi-platinum triumph of Eyes Open (2006), followed by the success of A Hundred Million Suns (2008) and Fallen Empires (2011). Following a hiatus, they returned strong with Wildness (2018) and most recently secured a Number One spot with The Forest Is The Path in September 2024.
Now consisting of the trio Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, and Johnny McDaid, the group is coming off the back of a massive sold-out tour across Europe and the UK, alongside high-profile headline slots at Glastonbury, TRNSMT, and Latitude.
This upcoming London show serves as a celebration of the twentieth anniversary of their landmark album Eyes Open, the record that gave the world the "Most Played Track of the 21st Century," "Chasing Cars." Fans can expect a "magnetic and completely captivating" performance featuring a career-spanning setlist including "Run," "Open Your Eyes," and "Just Say Yes."
Gary Lightbody shared his excitement for the event: “We’re excited to play Crystal Palace Park next summer. It’ll be our first outdoor London show for a long while. It’s going to be a great day with a fantastic line up of bands and solo artists.”
Crystal Palace Park holds a legendary status as London’s original outdoor concert space, having hosted icons like Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, and The Rolling Stones. This heritage continues into the modern era; following sold-out 2025 dates from Deftones and RÜFÜS DU SOL, the 2026 season is shaping up to be spectacular. In addition to Snow Patrol, the park will host performances by Alanis Morissette, Two Door Cinema Club, The Offspring, and Kneecap.
