EVILLE RELEASE NEW SONG

After a massive summer lighting up stages at Reading & Leeds, 2000 Trees, and Burn It Down Festival, Brighton’s self-proclaimed “Brat Metal” trio EVILLE are back with their explosive new single, ‘No Pictures Please’. The track is the latest taste of their upcoming debut EP, BRAT METAL, due out on 17 October 2025.
Talking about the single, vocalist Eva Sheldrake says: "We wrote this song as a metaphor for dealing with jealousy, gossip and the people waiting for your downfall. In the track, those people become the paparazzi, while we take on the role of the celebrity trying to escape them. With its Y2K Hollywood aesthetic, flashing cameras, cheering crowds and vivid lyrics, we really wanted to pull listeners into that world."
Brighton trio EVILLE are blazing their own trail with brat metal – a self-coined genre that smashes together bratty, hyper-feminine lyricism and fierce, unrelenting metal instrumentals. The result? A riotous blend of chaos, confidence, and catharsis.
Their genre-defying sound is already turning heads. BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe named them Track of the Week twice and spotlighted them in her Ones to Watch for 2025. With additional backing from Radio X and Kerrang!, EVILLE are quickly carving out their place as one of the UK’s most exciting new forces in heavy music.
Following a summer of explosive sets at Reading & Leeds, 2000trees, Burn It Down, and beyond, the band’s momentum is undeniable. Known for their adrenaline-fuelled live shows, they’ve already shared stages with heavyweights like WARGASM (UK), Delilah Bon, Cody Frost, THE HARA, and most recently, joined RedHook on their sold-out UK tour.
EVILLE aren’t just making noise - they’re leading a brat metal uprising, and they’re pulling a new generation of heavy music fans into the pit with them, one bratty breakdown at a time.
