EVILLE SHARE NEW SONG FEATURING EMMY MACK OF REDHOOK
Brighton-based three-piece EVILLE have officially joined the Easy Life Records roster today, ushering in this new chapter with the release of their high-octane single, ‘Flip Phone’. The fresh track boasts a standout guest contribution from Emmy Mack, frontwoman of Sydney alternative rock outfit RedHook.
On ‘Flip Phone’, EVILLE chart dynamic new territory within their soundscape by weaving their signature heavy riffs with an elevated wave of energy and raw swagger. Emmy Mack lends her undeniable vocal authority and charisma to the mix, creating a seamless dynamic that elevates the collaboration and propels EVILLE toward thrilling horizons.
Reflecting on the creation of the single, EVILLE vocalist Eva Sheldrake shares: “When we were writing Flip Phone we wanted to make something nostalgic, fun and liberating. We also knew straight away that we wanted Emmy to sing on it and she absolutely nailed it.”
Expanding on how the joint effort came together, RedHook vocalist Emmy Mack shares, “I’ve been a huge fan of Eville since we toured the UK together last year so it was a total no-brainer when they hit me up to collab! The song itself had such a fun lyrical concept, I unreservedly enjoyed the challenge of cramming as many cheeky Y2K refs as I possibly could into these bars. I hope people have as much fun listening to it as we had making it!”
