LØLØ RELEASE RENDITION OF SINGLE ‘DELUSIONAL DARLING’ WITH ELLA RED

Acclaimed pop-rock trailblazer LØLØ has joined forces with alt-pop sensation and former tourmate Ella Red to deliver a refreshed rendition of 'delusional darling'. The original track holds a prominent spot on LØLØ’s standout sophomore album, god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!, which arrived earlier this year through Fearless Records. Serving as a wry and deeply self-aware exploration of ignoring blatant red flags in the name of romance, 'delusional darling' captures the poignant moment of clarity when you realize that changing another person is impossible, regardless of how desperate you are to try.

LØLØ comments: “For better or for worse, I’m one of the most delusional people I know. I like to believe the best in people, even when there are giant, flashing red flags telling me otherwise. ‘delusional darling’ is a satirical, over exaggerated take on every girl who’s ever tried to justify an asshole’s bad behavior. Sometimes, you just have to let the ‘delulu’ take over you, because being delusional feels much less lonely than facing the truth. It’s easier to rewrite your reality than to admit the painfully obvious: he’s just not that into you. After inviting Ella Red to sing this with me every night when she opened up my European headline tour, all of the fans LOVED it. I'm so excited to give them this recorded version after an amazing tour!!”
