JULIA WOLF UNVEIL NEW ALBUM

Rising alt-pop artist Julia Wolf has unveiled her new album Pressure via AWAL, delivering a raw and unfiltered exploration of the heavy burdens of expectation - from the industry, society, and most poignantly, from within herself. Known for her genre-blurring sound and deeply confessional lyrics, Wolf dives deeper and darker on this record, weaving elements of emo, shoegaze, and metallic textures into her signature pop sensibility.

With executive production by Scro and additional contributions from Cody Tarpley (KREWELLA, Siiickbrain), Lynn Gunn (PVRIS), and others, Pressure transforms vulnerability into strength. The album confronts themes of self-doubt, comparison, and rejection head-on, balancing guttural screams with delicate melodies to create Wolf’s most fearless and fully realized work yet.

“It's called Pressure for a reason,” confesses Wolf. “Pressure is what sets me free.” The album’s visuals explore the striking contrast between beauty and the grotesque, perfectly embodied by the cover art—a serene woman suspended from a lush tree by body-suspension hooks. “It perfectly sums up the kind of pressure that I’m feeling,” she adds. “There’s a little blood, but it’s clear that her suspension is almost a way of feeling better. I wanted this album to really express the emotions that came with that: the soft doubt, the lack of confidence, the comparing myself to literally everyone that breathes. This was my chance to really lay it all out and be the most honest I’ve ever been.”

Julia Wolf is gearing up for a busy touring schedule in support of Pressure. She’ll headline select dates throughout the year as part of her ‘Pressure World Tour’, delivering her genre-blending sound directly to fans. In addition, Wolf will be supporting Halsey on several US dates, bringing her raw, emotional energy to larger audiences stateside. Over in the UK and Europe, she joins PVRIS as a special guest on their upcoming tour, including one date at London’s Koko on July 9. Wolf will also headline Oslo Hackney on July 10.
