KNEECAP ANNOUNCE THEIR BIGGEST HEADLINE SHOW TO DATE
West Belfast– and Derry-born trio Kneecap have announced the biggest headline show of their career, set for London’s Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 27 June 2026. They’ll be joined by special guests The Mary Wallopers, Fat Dog, Biig Piig, Gurriers, and Madra Salach, promising one of the stand-out events of the 2026 London Irish calendar.
Kneecap shared: “Back to the belly of the beast for our biggest ever headline show.
Our last wee venture into London was to beat the government in court...again. This time it'll be even better: 25,000 sound heads in a park together.
We're delighted to have some of our best mates and best bands around to join us.
This is one we can't wait for."
Now one of the most talked-about acts on the planet, Kneecap have mobilised a generation, on dancefloors and in moshpits, at festivals and in clubs, both online and off, fuelled by an arsenal of electrifying tracks. Their boundary-smashing, censorship-defying, bottle-of-Buckfast-wielding brand of hip-hop has become a cultural force. The release of their critically acclaimed concept album Fine Art (2024), produced by Toddla T, propelled them into the mainstream alongside their BAFTA-winning feature film Kneecap, starring Michael Fassbender, which went on to be shortlisted for an Academy Award.
From rolling into Sundance in a police Land Rover to inspiring tens of thousands of young people to learn Irish, to breaking box office records, headlining major festival stages, irritating politicians worldwide and earning support from figures like Noel Gallagher, Annie Mac, Elton John, Amyl & the Sniffers, Paul Weller, Primal Scream and Massive Attack, even appearing on banners in football stadiums—Kneecap have built a global movement rooted in unity, community, collective action and the ecstatic power of rave, punk and rap. Their blistering live shows continue to draw a rapidly expanding international fanbase bound by the joy of solidarity and shared sweat.
Fresh from another sold-out UK tour and the release of their new single ‘No Comment’ featuring Sub Focus, Kneecap now gear up for their largest headline moment yet at Crystal Palace Park next summer.
Joining them are The Mary Wallopers, a raucous Irish ballad group who first made their name travelling the country gathering and performing songs. Their early shows crackled with raw energy, somewhere between Dead Kennedys and The Clancy Brothers. After hosting one of the first major lockdown livestreams on St Patrick’s Day 2020, the band expanded to a seven-piece featuring bass, drums, accordion and tin whistle. Once restrictions eased, they returned to the stage with triumphant shows, including several nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street, before blazing through the UK. They now bring their inimitable live energy to Crystal Palace Park.
The bill also features the genre-warping five-piece Fat Dog, genre-defying modern pop innovator Biig Piig, industrial post-punk outfit Gurriers, and rising experimental folk act Madra Salach, rounding out one of 2026’s most anticipated outdoor concerts.
Crystal Palace Park, London’s original outdoor concert space—has previously hosted icons from The Rolling Stones and Bob Marley to Pink Floyd. In 2025, it staged sold-out shows from GRAMMY® Award winners including Sacramento alt-metal giants Deftones and Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL. In 2026, the venue continues its legacy with a stellar programme that also includes already announced shows from Two Door Cinema Club, Snow Patrol and The Offspring.
