British singer-songwriter Luvcat sold out a special intimate anniversary show at Soho’s The Box in just under five minutes to celebrate one year of her debut album ‘Vicious Delicious’, which was released on October 31st 2025. Upon entering the venue, audience members were handed a letter stamped with lipstick kisses and given a rose, immediately setting the tone for the evening.
“All this party for me? You shouldn’t have” she said as the curtain opened to reveal a venue packed with fans eager to celebrate the album’s birthday with her. Dressed in a signature leopard-print bodysuit, Luvcat performed on a checkerboard floor, while The Box’s atmosphere complemented her aesthetic perfectly, transforming the evening into a cabaret spectacle. “Welcome to the Vicious Delicious anniversary show. Let’s start at the beginning” she said, standing onstage with a glass of red wine. Introducing her second song of the night, ‘Matador’, she added: “This song is about a strange and magical bar called the Kazimier Garden, and a strange and magical man who haunts me now.”
She followed with songs from her recent EP ‘Lovebites’, including ‘Silent Killer’, which she said was written about her old flat in Camberwell, which was falling apart as black mould had spread. The set also featured several songs from her debut album, alongside a new, unreleased track called ‘Mademoiselle’, fittingly inspired by a night she had at The Box with her friends. Luvcat admitted that she had not revealed much about her forthcoming album before jokingly adding “I’ve been bluffing a bit.” She then recalled: “The last time I was in The Box, it was a fever dream. Delightful and disturbing. I came to as the bright lights were turned on at 6am, dancing on a tabletop with the prince of Spain. Or France. It’s all a little blurry…”.

She closed the main set underneath a shower of falling rose petals with her biggest hit ‘He’s My Man’. After briefly leaving the stage, she returned in a new outfit accompanied by four cabaret dancers for an encore of ‘Bad Books’ and ‘Dinner @ Brasserie Zedel’. She then thanked the audience and said she would be happy to meet fans after the show, prompting several excited reactions from the crowd.
Luvcat has curated a world in which her music, outfits and stage design feel inseparable. Her songs blend real-life details with theatrical myths, including the story that she ran away with a Parisian circus at sixteen to work as a magician’s assistant. Her smoky, gothic fairytale style, complete with lipstick and leopard print, gives her an air of old glamour, while her songwriting explores twisted romance, obsession and dramatic storytelling. The anniversary show embodied that vision: candles, checkerboard flooring and red curtains framed her performance, complemented by stockings and her signature leopard-print look. She commanded the stage with confidence and flirtatious wit, eventually closing the night with a short acoustic rendition of ‘Dinner @ Brasserie Zedel’ alongside her band and her signature accordion.
By the end of the night, Luvcat had transformed The Box into her own beautifully chaotic fairytale. From the lipstick-marked letters and roses to the candles, costumes and cabaret dancers, every detail felt carefully curated without losing its sense of spontaneity. More than a celebration of ‘Vicious Delicious’, the show offered a vivid glimpse into the world Luvcat has created: theatrical, seductive and impossible to forget.
