LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS AT THE DOME, LONDON 14/11/25

As Everything Unfolds are a band that find inspiration is everything around them and then some. With two full length albums under their belt and a third on the way, the new music on offer is as exciting as the well-worn favourites are.

Playing to an early doors crowd, Brighton's Eville made a valiant effort to rile up a somewhat sparse crowd with their brand of Brat metal, a genre that has influenced their recently released EP.

Just a month old Brat Metal shows the direction of travel for a young and thirsty band. ‘No Pictures Please’ exemplifies this melding of hardcore and electronica that Eville have made into their signature.

With a guttural growl and an impressive circle pit ‘Slay’ brought Eville's show to an end. This is the song of the set with the crowd thoroughly warmed up with singer Eva Sheldrake and bassist Jude Richards in the pit, giving it their all and making certain the trio are remembered.

Traversing North, Scottish Happydaze came out full force, filling the stage with pop punk reminiscent of 2000's quintessential emo spiced up with a more contemporary Neck Deep-esque sound.

“This is the moment where everyone normally goes fucking crazy, this is Faded”. The expectations were set in the room. Happydaze apparently in no way afraid to peer pressure their audience into a dance party.

“This is ‘falling again’ It's a mosh stomper” singer Luke Bovill declared and the room responded with enthusiasm. Although on a slightly more chill vibe than the other bands on the bill, Happydaze held their own and show The Dome exactly what they are about.

‘Set In Flow’, one of the most recent As Everything Unfolds releases is the track that commenced the High Wycombe band's set. The choice is wise. This is a band that is evolving fast and the electronica influence of this new song is obvious.

Through the devastating loss of their drummer Jamie Gower in August of 2024, this is a band that have persevered through their pain to keep the upward momentum of their career, and simply put they are very good at it. Even when storming through older tracks like ‘Hiding from Myself’ from 2002 album Within Each Lies the Other and the iconic ‘17:10’ from 2018's Closer, they added the sassy of the band in 2025 with all the experience and depth that comes with it.

A highlight of the set was ‘What You Wanted’, a track not only brand spanking new as of this month but also featuring Dani Winter-Bates from Bury Tomorrow. This is a slick song with top notch production.

Aside from the standouts, it should be mentioned how consistent the energy was kept throughout the night. As Everything Unfolds are gifted with the ability to just have a great fucking time on stage and that so often is half the battle when it comes to putting on a rip-roaring show. The exuberance that the band demonstrated on stage was given back in kind.

Finishing up the night, vocalist Charlie Rolfe gave a heartfelt introduction to ‘On The Inside’: “We are so, so grateful. Without this song we wouldn't be here”

This song was THE song of the evening, with ground shaking jumping and plenty of crowd surfers, the night with the beloved post-hardcore aficionados came to a bittersweet close.
