Tom Grennan lit up the O2 Arena with an unforgettable performance that blended heartfelt warmth with undeniable star power. From the moment the Bedford-born singer-songwriter stepped on stage, the atmosphere was electric, charged with a raw, infectious confidence balanced by his trademark humility. Grennan managed to strike the perfect balance between spectacle and sincerity, transforming one of London’s largest venues into something that felt remarkably intimate, like a room full of friends.
The night kicked off with a soulful set from Allie Sherlock, whose powerful vocals and charm captivated the crowd from the first note. Her raw talent and heartfelt delivery brought a refreshing intimacy to the venue. Following her, Tom Walker took the stage with his signature raspy voice and emotionally charged performance. His energy was infectious, and fan-favourites like ‘Leave a Light On’ had the crowd singing along in unison. Together, Sherlock and Walker set a strong emotional tone for the evening, proving themselves more than worthy of the spotlight.
Tom Grennan graced the stage of the iconic O2 Arena and fired straight into ‘Full Attention’, a bold, electrifying opener that instantly had the whole arena on its feet. With his name lit up in giant letters behind him and a band that was completely locked in, the energy was undeniable. The popular ‘Higher’ and ‘All These Nights‘ followed, the latter erupting in a confetti-drenched moment that lit up the arena.
Grennan’s energy was electric from the first beat and his vocals were spot-on, but more than that, there was real heart behind every line. ‘Cool With That’ and ‘Found What You’ve Been Looking For’ were performed next, with the same unrelenting intensity as the show’s opening tracks.
Moments later, Grennan paused to speak directly to the crowd, introducing ‘Crown Your Love’ as a heartfelt dedication to his daughter, who was watching from the audience. Towards the end of the song, he took a quiet moment to soak it all in, visibly moved by the sight of a sold-out O2 - a powerful, unspoken “I made it” moment.
The singer brought his backing vocalists to the front of the stage for ‘Certified’, turning the track into a full-blown ensemble moment that radiated joy and unity. After performing the upbeat ‘Somewhere Only We Go’, Grennan took a moment to speak to the crowd, expressing his gratitude for the evening that was unfolding: ‘‘The amount of joy I feel right now is on another planet’’ he confessed.
For ‘Let’s Go Home Together’, Grennan welcomed his friend and backing vocalist Angel to the spotlight, a touching gesture that transformed the duet into one of the night’s most emotionally charged highlights.
Every element of the show, from lighting to staging effects, was polished and intentionally dynamic, but it never distracted from his voice and the emotion behind the songs. Grennan’s stage presence was magnetic. He was playful, humble, and genuinely thrilled to be there.
The final portion of the night felt the most energetic. ‘How Does It Feel’ sent a wave of euphoria through the arena, with fans chanting every word back like a chorus of thousands. ‘All Goes Wrong’ cranked up the energy even further, igniting the crowd into a frenzy as pyrotechnics lit up the stage. But it was ‘Lionheart’ that truly turned the room into a euphoric celebration, an all-out explosion of joy with more flames, hands in the air, and everyone on their feet. With ‘By Your Side’ and ‘Remind Me’, Grennan matched that high with a surge of electricity, sending the crowd on a pure adrenaline high right before a fake exit.
After a brief break, the singer-songwriter returned to the stage for a heartfelt performance of’ I Won’t Miss A Thing’, a tender, emotional moment that brought a hush over the arena. But it wasn’t long before the energy surged once more, as he closed the night with the euphoric fan favourite ‘Little Bit of Love’, bringing the audience to their feet.
From intimate ballads to thunderous, stadium-sized anthems, Tom Grennan delivered it all with heart, passion, and unwavering authenticity. Caring, charismatic, and electric on stage, this show was a powerful reminder of just how far he’s come, and how much further he’s going.
