MGK UNVEILS NEW ALBUM

mgk has officially released his seventh studio album, Lost Americana, through Interscope Records. Arriving on August 8, the 13-track album sees MGK return to his signature alt-pop rock style, blending emotionally charged guitar riffs with cinematic production elements.

lost americana follows mgk’s chart-toppers Tickets to My Downfall (2020) and Mainstream Sellout (2022), both of which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, showcasing his successful journey from rap to pop-punk and alt-pop fusion territory. The album rollout included three lead singles: ‘cliché,’ ‘vampire diaries,’ and ‘miss sunshine,’ each offering a glimpse into the project’s nostalgic and rebellious tone.

To accompany the release, MGK also dropped the official music video for the album’s opening track, ‘outlaw overture,’ co-directed by Sam Cahill and Hunter Simmons.
