Building on the momentum of a Top 3 hit at Active Rock radio and an exhausting tour schedule for their debut album, Start Again, Nevertel returns with a refined energy following the premiere of their new single ‘OTHERSIDE’ on SiriusXM Octane. The Tampa, Florida, collective, led by the creative duo of vocalist Jeremy Michael and vocalist/producer Raul Lopez, has distilled the chaotic pace of life on the road into a sound that is both sleeker and more intentional, characterized by razor-sharp hooks and a tension born from relentless performance.

“‘OTHERSIDE’ is where nostalgia meets creativity,” shares Lopez. “It felt like we tapped into our younger selves and wrote riffs and experimented with guitars a lot more on this one. Sonically, our goal was to mesh early 2000’s grunge with hip-hop/electronic production. We even recorded organic sounds like zippers, crushed water bottles, stomps, and Jeremy beatboxing over the first verse of the song.”

The accompanying music video places the band in a claustrophobic, damp warehouse as a mysterious mob relentlessly hammers at the walls. As the swarm finally breaches the perimeter, the audience is left in suspense, wondering what fate awaits the group in this new era.

“The song is about the end of a long-standing bond; what it feels like going through it, and what it looks like on the other side of that ending.”

Since their formation in 2014, Nevertel has forged a formidable reputation through relentless perseverance, evolving into a standout success story within the Active Rock radio format with an impressive 165M catalog streams to date. The band is rapidly ascending toward headliner status, driven by a high-octane fusion of nu-metal, hip-hop, and rock that has captivated audiences at premier festivals such as Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.
