A new era for Northlane is officially loading as the heavy music trailblazers return to the spotlight with their exhilarating new single, ‘Evian,’ out now via Independent. This track represents another bold step in the band’s ongoing evolution, masterfully shapeshifting through a duality of euphoric trance and seismic breakdowns. As the song expands and contracts, its affecting lyrics explore the necessity of facing trauma to become a better version of oneself for the sake of loved ones.

Frontman Marcus Bridge opens up about the deeper meaning behind the music, stating: “Evian is about self-improvement through confronting trauma then finding your way back to someone from a healthier place. It explores the choice to grow on your own rather than dragging others down with you, making a conscious effort to heal before your struggles start affecting the people you care about.”

With more than a decade of momentum behind them, Northlane continues to command the global heavy music scene, wielding a singular and highly influential sound that reshapes the genre's landscape with every new release. Their legacy is firmly rooted in innovation, backed by multiple ARIA #1 albums, prestigious awards, and a staggering half a billion streams. By consistently blending metal with electronic textures, they have shattered traditional boundaries and earned a reputation as one of the most cerebral and forward-thinking acts in the industry today.

The arrival of ‘Evian’ coincides with Northlane’s relentless international touring schedule, which finds them bringing their hypnotic live performance to North America alongside Dayseeker. Following those dates, the band will head to Europe for a massive summer festival circuit, featuring performances at Bloodstock, Summer Breeze, and Re-Load, interspersed with several headline shows. The journey continues later in the year as they return to Australia to join the maiden voyage of the Hellbound Cruise, with even more announcements expected soon.

As the band prepares for what is destined to be a monumental 2026, fans should savor this musical entrée before the main course eventually arrives.
